Mound Building Societies in North America In-Person
Dating back 5,000 years ago, indigenous groups and cultures named as "Mound Builders" existed in North America and parts of Ohio. These peoples left behind large mounds built from the dirt and ground for uses as burials, settlements, and other theorized reasons. On December 11 at 6pm, join Associate Professor of Anthropology at the University of Toledo, Melissa Baltus in the presentation of "Mound Building Societies in North America". Held at the Local History Center's Harmon Room, this program is free to all. For further questions, please call 833-633-7323 ext. 275 or my email jared@mywcpl.org
