Think you can guess how many book titles have been challenged in Ohio recently?
In recognition of Banned Book Week, we’re inviting patrons of all ages to participate in our fun guessing game! Swing by the front desk between October 6th and October 10th, and take a guess at how many books were formally challenged in the State of Ohio between 2024 and 2025.
According to the American Library Association:

In 2022, Ohio reported 35 book challenges across libraries and schools statewide.

In 2023, Ohio saw 40 challenge attempts targeting 235 unique titles.
