Comic Strip Contest: Battle of the Panels In-Person

Do you have a knack for storytelling and drawing? Show off your creativity in our Comic Strip Contest!

📅 Submission Period: September 1 – September 20
📅 Voting Period: September 22 – 27
🏆 Winners Announced: September 30

🎨 How It Works:

  • Pick up your blank comic strip template at the library — all entries must be submitted using the provided form.

  • Create your own original comic strip using drawings, text, and imagination!

  • Submit your completed comic strip by September 20 — late entries will not be accepted.

👥 Age Categories:

  • Kids (11 and under)

  • Teens (12 – 17)

  • Adults (18+)

🗳️ The public will vote during the voting period to help determine the winners for each age group. Prizes will be awarded!

📍Pick up your entry form starting September 1st and get ready to draw, doodle, and laugh your way to victory! 😄

📌 Contest Rules:

  1. Content must be appropriate for library display.

  2. One entry per artist; entry forms must be filled out completely.

  3. You may use any medium — crayons, pencils, pens, markers, etc.

  4. One artist per comic; no group submissions.

  5. Entries must be turned in by September 20th to be eligible for voting.

  6. Comic strips may contain 1 to 6 panels. You do not need to use all 6 panels — just as many as your story needs!
