Anime & Manga Book Club In-Person

A book club for teens (ages 13-19) that focuses on reading manga and watching anime.  What's manga?  Japanese comics that are drawn in a distintive style and often published right-to-left (the opposite of English).  There are several different genres and most popular animes including Dragon Ball, Naruto, Sailor Moon, and One Piece, are based on manga.

Whether you've never picked one up before or are a seasoned reader, here you can discover titles you've never heard of, make new friends, connect with other readers, and have some fun.  We'll read a few volumes in series of all genres, some new and some old.  Snacks and drinks will be provided.

The club meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 4pm in the east wing of the Carnegie Rooms beginning September 10th.

Registration opens Thursday, August 1st and closes Friday, August 30th.
